North Korea fires ballistic missile 440 km into Sea of Japan as Tokyo steps up surveillance with US and South Korea

North Korea fired at least one ballistic missile from near its east coast at around 3 p.m. on 20 September, Japan’s Ministry of Defense and Cabinet Secretariat said.
