United Kingdom deploys HMS Queen Elizabeth for NATO command duties before it becomes the Royal Navy’s high-readiness flagship in 2027

The 65,000-tonne aircraft carrier and its crew of more than 800 sailors will work with allied forces on collective defence, deterrence and crisis-response operations.
