U.S. Navy returns fully modernized USS North Dakota attack submarine to fleet early after major Block III overhaul at Portsmouth

The U.S. Navy returned USS North Dakota to the fleet on Aug. 29 after Portsmouth Naval Shipyard completed its extended drydocking maintenance period ahead of the rebaselined schedule.
