BAE Systems secures £5.9 billion contract to advance construction of four Royal Navy Dreadnought-class nuclear deterrent submarines

Construction of the first submarine, Dreadnought, continues at BAE Systems’ Barrow-in-Furness shipyard. Delivery to the Royal Navy is planned for the early 2030s.
